Bolivia is a country rich in resources, though one of the least developed countries in Latin America. One-third of the country is within the Andean mountain range. There are 37 official languages spoken in Bolivia, including Spanish. Unfortunately, 45% of the population lives below the poverty line, living on less than $2/day.
This trip is available for ages 10 years and older. Those under 18 MUST be accompanied by an adult. Price does not include domestic or international airfare.
Day 1 – Arrive in La Paz, journey 30 minutes to hotel accommodation to settle-in, meet fellow travel buddies and rest up for a beautiful week of service
Day 2 – Enjoy a morning cultural excursion (example: tour historic center of La Paz & take cable car to a beautiful viewing point). Then, meet and play with the locals while giving the gift of new shoes.
Day 3 – Spend a fun-filled day distributing shoes.
Day 4 – Depart for Copacabana, explore Calvary Road and end the day cruising on a ferry to Sun Island on Lake Titicaca.
Day 5 – Experience the most beautiful sunrise and journey back to La Paz.
Day 6 – An amazing day of giving the gift of shoes to children and families.
Day 7 – Participate in an unforgettable activity before departing to the airport.
